Sound familiar?

Cheap hosting gets expensive the day something breaks.

  • “An update ran overnight and now the appointment form doesn't send.”
  • “The host says it's the web developer. The web developer says it's the host.”
  • “Email from the practice stopped working after someone “fixed” the website.”
  • “Nobody knows who has the login to the domain. It might be a former employee.”
  • “Changing the holiday hours takes a week and an invoice.”
  • “We pay for hosting, a theme, five plugins and a maintenance plan, and it's still slow.”

Your front desk should be with patients, not on hold with a web host.

What’s included

One monthly fee. One team accountable.

  • Enterprise-grade hosting

The same platform OpenAI and PayPal run on, with SSL, global delivery and DDoS protection built in.

  • Your CRM, included

GoHighLevel for forms, patient follow-up and review requests. Bought on your own, it runs $97–$297 a month.

  • Security without plugins

No WordPress, no plugin pile, no theme conflicts. Fewer moving parts means fewer ways in.

  • DNS & email records

Your domain, DNS and the records that keep practice email working and out of spam. Handled.

  • Fixes & reasonable updates

Text, photos, hours, new team members, small changes. Send it over and it's done.

  • Publish it yourself

Blogs and events go live from a simple dashboard. Anything else you update often, we make editable during the build.

Here’s what running it yourself really costs.

Why we don’t build on WordPress anymore

Every plugin is another door left open.

~8,000

new WordPress security holes found in 2024. About 22 a day.

96%

of them were in plugins, not WordPress itself.

60%+

of attacks hit holes that already had a fix nobody installed.

A typical dental WordPress site stacks a host, a page builder like Elementor ($60–$204 a year), a handful of premium plugins ($100–$500 a year) and a maintenance plan ($200–$500 a month at most agencies), and someone still has to babysit the updates.

Early adopters win

Every 10 years or so, the rules change. Again.

  1. 1990s

“Does a dental office really need a website?”

The practices that said yes first owned their towns online for a decade.

  2. 1998

    Google arrives

Search changed how patients found a dentist. SEO was born.

  3. 2005–2007

    Google Maps + the iPhone

“Dentist near me” moved to the phone in every patient's pocket.

  4. 2015

    Google rewards mobile-friendly sites

Dental sites that weren't built for phones started slipping in search.

  5. 2022–2024

    ChatGPT + Google AI Overviews

Patients now ask AI who to see. It recommends the practices it can understand and trust.

  6. Now

    AI-built, AI-read websites

Fast, clean, structured sites get chosen. Plugin-heavy sites get skipped. This is the shift you're early for.

The practices that moved early didn’t just keep up. They got the head start, and everyone else paid to catch up. Moving your site to this platform now is that head start.

FAQ

Hosting questions, answered

Why does a dental website need paid hosting at all?

Every website lives on a server somewhere, and someone has to keep it online, secure, fast and up to date. You can pay for the tools and have your team do it, pay a cheap host and hope nothing breaks, or have one team handle everything. Website Care & Hosting is the third option.

What exactly is covered?

Commercial hosting on the same platform big brands use, SSL, security, your GoHighLevel CRM, DNS management, fixes when something breaks, and reasonable updates: text, photos, hours, team members and small changes. Blog posts and events you can publish yourself, any time.

What counts as a “reasonable update”?

The everyday stuff: changing text, swapping photos, updating hours, adding a new hygienist or associate, fixing a link. New pages, new features or a redesign are quoted separately, so you always know the cost before we start.

Can our team update the site ourselves?

Yes. Blogs and events come with a simple publishing dashboard. If there's something else you update often, tell us during the build and we'll make that easy to edit too (within reason).

Do you host our practice email?

No. Your email stays with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, where it belongs. We manage the DNS records that make it work (and keep it out of spam folders), so a website change never breaks your email.

Is hosting included with SEO?

Yes, with any 12-month SEO plan.

What if we want to own everything ourselves?

You can. We'll hand it over. You'd need your own accounts: a commercial hosting plan (Vercel Pro, $20/month), a CRM (GoHighLevel, $97–$297/month), an AI coding tool or a developer to make changes (Claude Pro, $20/month), and a code home (GitHub, free to $4/month). Use the calculator above to see what that really costs once you add your team's time.

What happens if the site goes down?

We fix it. You don't call the host, the developer and the plugin company. You call us, once.
